a couple of weeks ago, i had the pleasure of photographing tishawn and osie’s nigerian engagement ceremony in hanover, md. these traditional ceremonies are always fun and interesting to attend. this one was shorter than usual.
here are a few of my favorites.

not sure…but he’s the father of the bride

father of the bride hands over his daughter to her new family…
…then to her new husband
they head off for a quick change of clothes…osie’s nephew guides them through
guest eat while they change…the best part of the agenda :-)
they’re back…
…and ready to cut the cake
then they’re ready to dance…and so is everyone else :-)
and ready to go home!
