i got some love from the ladies over at hitched, a couture wedding boutique in dc. thanks to yewande’s exquisite taste. and a BIG thanks to the ladies of hitched in georgetown for the shout out on their blog. please show them some love as well- i really love their blog.
every now and then, i get called to photograph a bridal shower. yes ladies, i can handle it. i mean….i cover my ears half the time :-). heather and christine hosted a wonderful bridal shower at the source in dc. i loved the details. the food was good. drinks were awesome. dessert was heavenly. we really had a blast (yes WE). angela’s fiance made a surprise appearance too. during the shower, the ladies wrote special notes to put in balloons. and at the end of the shower…they let the balloons go. it was very sweet and emotional. it was such a wonderful time, and i can’t thank christine enough for having me photograph the bridal shower. anyway, enjoy the pictures.

i’m ALWAYS looking forward to this exciting comedy event. last year, i laughed so hard i thought i was going to get only blurry pictures. this year…i definitely thought i was getting blurry pictures (pheeeew!!!). LWKMD (laff/laugh wan kill me die) event, featuring some of the best nigerian comedians from around the globe, is an event never to be missed! i’ve also had the pleasure of seeing 3 of these comedians doing the job of an MC at some nigerian weddings i have photographed or attended. it’s a good idea to get a good MC at a nigerian wedding to keep things flowing. let me know if you’re looking for an MC for your wedding or event, and i’ll link you up. also, dj don x kept the music going through out the event.
hopefully i don’t have to wait another year to see these guys again, but i’m already looking forward to LWKMD 2012.
