My friends Olivia and Josh are the coolest couple. Ever! Josh is the talented graphic designer that designed my logo and business cards. Part of the agreement  was for me to take some photographs of him and his wife, Olivia (read more on his blog here). I’m so glad we were able to work out our schedules to get the pictures done in Princeton, NJ. It was a quick session, but we achieved our goal. 

It was cloudy and chilly in Princeton that day, with  the sun peeping every once in a while, but we managed to get some wonderful photographs. As with most of my engagement sessions (or e-sessions or engagement photos or whatever you prefer to call it…lol), I like to not only get great portraits of the couples, but I like to naturally show how deeply in love the couples are.  And there’s no doubt Olivia and Josh are deeply in love. a monster shout out to kirth and dotun for their excellent coverage. i called on them at the last minute, and they both managed to squeeze me into their very busy schedules.  kirth provided assistance during the pre-ceremony and ceremony, while dotun came by during the reception.

the last couple of years, i’ve been asked to photograph “BIAZO,” an annual event at jesus house dc (i’m a member) that takes place every year during the month of march.  BIAZO is a month long event that no one should miss…it occurs every year in march filled with motivational speakers, great music, career and health fairs, and many more activities.

it was a bit tough to cover the month long event, but it was all worth the gray hair. *photo geek alert* the lighting (or lack of) made it very challenging. i minimize the use of flash, given the nature of the events.  then again…we photographers face the same challenges at weddings. speaking of weddings, i covered BIAZO like i would a wedding- a journalistic approach with some portraits :-) here’s a slideshow to show a few of the thousands of pictures i took- click-here!

and here’s what the 2010 album looked like. (i forgot to take a picture of the 2011 one).  couples have an option to get this sweet cover for their wedding album.

the layouts are fully loaded, as you can see.  the pastor specifically wanted to see loads of images.  oh…and all the images are in focus, i just shot it like that for the blog  just because….

i am sooooooo looking forward to the wedding day. enjoy
